These heat insert nuts are machined from BG brass, a golden brown material that resists rust and keeps its lustre. Straight, cross and diamond knurling can be produced for different grip, and the CNC-turned thread covers M2 to M20, with M2 to M8 detailed in the size chart. As brass knurled inserts, they hold a reusable metal thread in thermoplastic: the knurl bites into the softened wall, so a screw can be driven and reopened without stripping the plastic. That makes them threaded inserts for 3D printing, molded housings and electronic enclosures. Plain, tin-plated and nickel-plated finishes are available, lengths and knurl patterns can be adjusted, and packaging, labels and box contents can be customized.
